Revolving doors at 24 Fifth Avenue, a Greenwich Village landmark building constructed in 1928, formerly the Fifth Avenue Hotel (its apartment renovation preserves its prewar elegance). Much of the surrounding neighborhood is part of the Village's historic district, with tree-lined streets and elaborate gardens.
