Arc de Triomphe

Napoleon I's triumphal arch, designed by Jean Chalgrin in 1806 and completed by Guillaume Blouet in 1836, delineates a vista seen the length of the Champs-Élysées and an axis from the Louvre's courtyard to the Grande Arche de la Défense. Situated at Place Charles de Gaulle-Étoile, the arch is a neoclassical version of ancient Roman architecture, commemorating Revolutionary and Napoleonic victories.

You captured the grandeur very well indeed!
